Karuizawa Brand and Market Background
Karuizawa Distillery ceased production in 2000, and the distillery was demolished in 2011. All remaining stock entered a "discontinued countdown" state – every bottle sold permanently reduces the global total.
Karuizawa is currently one of the highest-selling single-bottle brands in the global whisky auction market. Some rare single casks have exceeded HKD seven figures at Bonhams and Sotheby's.

Common authentication process: Fill level (neck position is ideal), cork or screw cap health, label print layers, bottle serial number engraving, completeness of original wooden box and certificate.
