Bowmore buyback

Bowmore is one of Islay's oldest distilleries, and the Black, White, and Gold Bowmore trilogy is a legend in the collector's market. Distilled in 1964, sherry cask matured, and bottled in extremely limited quantities, this series has consistently maintained high attention.

In addition to the trilogy, 1960s to 1970s old bottlings, official high-age statements, Feis Ile, Devil's Cask, Vault Edition, and independent bottler single casks are all worth individual appraisal. Bowmore's flavors vary greatly across different eras and cannot be simply summarized as "Islay"; for similar high-value Scottish collectibles, please refer to World Whisky Acquisitions.

Which Bowmore editions are most worth appraising?

Black Bowmore, White Bowmore, Gold Bowmore, 1960s/1970s old editions, old label high-age statements, and rare single casks are the most frequently inquired about. If you also have Port Ellen or Springbank, they can be appraised together under the scarce Scotch category.

What details are needed for high-value Bowmore appraisals?

Please provide photos of the front label, back label, neck, fill level, wooden box, certificate, and bottle number. The preservation status and provenance are especially crucial for high-value Bowmore.

Bowmore's regular drinking editions and collector's editions will be quoted separately. If the same batch also includes Macallan, Dalmore, or popular whisky acquisitions, their demand as scarce items can be assessed together; the more complete the box and certificate, fill level, and provenance information, the closer the appraisal will be to the actual transaction price.
